All of our classes will be a hybrid course which means we will be offering both in-person and online instruction for as many of our programs as possible.

We believe that education does not need to be high in cost, just high in quality. Therefore we provide short-term, low-cost, quality programs.

Our primary goal is to produce students whose skills are exceptional and whose understanding of safety is superior. Our company consists of experienced professionals who provide students with the personal attention they need to succeed. Combined, our staff have over 40 years of experience in the field. Our instructors will guide you as you learn a variety of types of blood draw techniques, safety standards, basic anatomy and physiology, and other areas.
Phlebotomy Means to "Cut a Vein" in Greek.
All of our phlebotomy training classes are comprehensive and emphasize a “hands-on” method – each student will draw blood several times in each class. These draws will be performed with the supervision of other class members. Our instructors will guide you as you learn a variety of phlebotomy techniques. In addition, you will learn the “tricks of the trade” that will help with special patients and difficult draws. Our 6 or 8-week program provides the student with skills and training in order to succeed as a phlebotomist. This course contains lecture-discussion and practical instruction. Once the course has completed a Certificate of Completion will be provided as a state-certified Phlebotomy Technician.
This course is for the person who is not sure if Phlebotomy is the right field for them or one who is interested in the medical field but not sure where to begin. The Phlebotomy Workshop is also for the returning phlebotomy student. This course emphasizes a“hands-on” method. This course is a 4-hour course that contains online-lecture and laboratory instruction and provides the student with skills and training to succeed as a phlebotomist. After completing the workshop, students will be issued a Phlebotomy Workshop certificate. The course can be used for continuing education hours for your Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification.
Get StartedThe IV Infusion Workshop is for the returning phlebotomy student or a current student with equivalent field experience/training. This course emphasizes a “hands-on” method. This course is a 6-hour course that will focus on current IV administration techniques, as well as fluid balance, medications, complications, and effects of IV therapy. After completing the workshop, students will be issued an IV Infusion Workshop certificate.
Prerequisites: High school diploma, 18 years of age or older, completion of a phlebotomy program
or equivalent medical field training/experience.

Whether you are seeking your first job in the medical field or are changing fields altogether, after completing one of our programs, our experienced team can counsel you or help you get started in the right direction. No school can guarantee employment, however, Texas School of Phlebotomy is committed to doing everything we can for our students and graduates.
During enrollment and post-graduation, career assessment and guidance is provided by the Career Guidance Office, Texas School of Phlebotomy staff, and school instructors.
Job Fairs, Health Fairs & Events – Texas School of Phlebotomy provides opportunities to students and graduates: by seeking out Job fairs, Community Health Events, volunteer service and other opportunities that may result in gaining hands on training, new skills, certifications, and meeting with potential employers.
Texas School of Phlebotomy, at its core, is about helping people and communities surrounding our schools. We create various networking opportunities to meet others through giving back to the surrounding communities.
Students and graduates are assisted in the design of a new or revision of a current resume by Texas School of Phlebotomy staff.
Integral to our classes are mock interviews, helpful tips, and commonly asked questions geared toward preparing our students for one on one and group interviews.
CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) so you will be able to perform effective rescue breaths and chest compressions to increase the chances of survival for someone in cardiac arrest.
AED (automated external defibrillator) training will prepare you to apply and activate an AED to monitor the cardiac activity of an unconscious patient and potentially deliver life-saving defibrillations.
Training in basic First Aid basics, medical emergencies, injury, and environmental emergencies.
